Alejandra, who since childhood has shown an immense interest in music, has just finished finalizing her first album titled "Ama!" which contains six songs written and composed by Alejandra. The album is scheduled to be released on December 4, 2007. This work consists of pop ballads and rhythmical fusions making this an album that will be able to satisfy the different tastes of her audience.
Alejandra was born in Bani on February 27th, the day of Independence in the Dominican Republic, raised in a community where she always dreamt of being a star. Those who know her define her as a humble and sincere person.
Married to Major League Baseball star Miguel Tejada, Alejandra is confident of her work and ready to share with audiences around the world. She counts on the support of her husband and two children as well as her family and friends who have been there for her from the beginning of this project.
"Mala Suerte", a beautiful love ballad is the first single being released and programmed on Hispanic radio Stations throughout the United Status as well as the Dominican Republic. On her album, Alejandra explores the fusion of merengue and bachata and leaves no doubt of her great talent as a vocalist.
